Design a 5W portable speaker to serve boAt's young consumers. The speaker needs to be developed while keeping affordability in mind and should be designed to be used in both indoors and outdoors environment.
The design has been achieved following a minimalist approach to develop a highly portable product. There's only three buttons: +,- is for volume and o is a multi-function button that is combined with the port cover. The shell is made of a 3 part mould.
A good mix of colors and finishes have been used to offer distinguished aesthetics keeping in mind the affordability of the product. Dual tone colors are used to amplify the appeal while being super portable in size.
A glossy ring is used on the top to signify the area of sound output.
A unique grill pattern is used on the top to adhere to the aesthetics and allow ample air circulation, not compromising on sound delivery. De bossed icons for controls on the silicon cover for ports, used as dedicated control buttons. this helps in simplifying the design and manufacturing process.
The product is sub divided into 7 parts. The grip, buttons/port cover and the loop is made of silicone. The main shell of ABS plastic and a fabric is used for dust protection underneath the speaker grill.

The speaker supports Type-C charging and memory card/FM play.
The branding has been silk printed on to the strap and printed over the inner cloth that subtly peaks through the unique grill pattern. This provides enough brand visibility, while adding to the overall aesthetics.

The speaker offers Bluetooth V5.0 and TWS functionality. so you can pair two or more products to get the
